Get aftermarket head unit that fits this model . So much easier than dealing with this and getting nowhere . Aftermarket units look like it was factory fitted but have so much more to offer.

seeing as none has gotten a response, I'll just say I've tried this with my 2012 xr6. It looks like it's something he's paid to get not something they automatically come with. if you haven't spoken to your respected dealership you should other then that good luck as finding firmware online

Garmin puts out new upgrades for its systems once a year. The navigation programs in Honda's are Garmin products. I just upgraded the nav in my 2018 Touring CRV yesterday. It took a couple of hours to download the upgrade from Garmin Express onto a USB thumb drive then upload it into my CRV but wow was it worth it. Very up to date. The Garmin nav the CRV came with was mapping me down roads that were not there anymore.

Do the smart TV V900s and the standard DVD only V900s have different wiring pins in the connectors ? I’ve just upgraded mine but used the existing V900 wiring looms but they won’t power up. The red power light is on but very dull . Are they the same or will I need to upgrade the whole loom ?
